northern vs. mountain madtom

i know they are both found in the river i usually seine in, i have collected many of them but i dont know a good way to tell them apart, i call them all mountains but i get some goofy looking mountains from time to time. does anyone have a way to tell them apart, i have read somthing about a caudual band but i need this explained

does anyone atleast have some good pictures of both? i collected a few more last week but i still cannot tell.

I am not sure cause I rarely find any madtoms when I go sampling/collecting, but I would be interested in getting some of these mountain madtoms if you would be willing to ship?

i would however they are state endangered in ohio, i just happen to work 5 minutes from a nice little population, the KY or TN guys may be able to i think they have alot more of them.
