Looks very, very nice! I might keep an eye on the banana plants. They usually like to be planted more deeply, and if doing well, will grow to the surface, shading the bottom. It looks like you have a few in there? You might wind up reducing them later on and even thinning the pads of the one(s) you leave, to make sure the other plants get enough light.
I am sooo jealous. I have come to realize that our new living room will not accommodate a huge tank. Siiigh.

Very nice! It is filling out nicely. I am a sucker for ludwigia, it has grown a lot. And you will be able to plants the trimmings when it comes time for one. Good to see no algae issues too! Good work.

Thanks for the compliments, I never did plant any of the banana plants I just tossed them in, one seems to have "walked" over to a different spot, very odd plants really, one day the roots will have it standing inches off the substrate and the next it will be moved or back down. The ludwigia has alot of new stems but I want them to thicken up as much as possible without being detrimental to the lower leaves before I do any trimming. As for algea, it was bad but I added a pleco to clean it up a couple weeks ago. I can not decide if I should pull the pleco out or not, I like him being in there but then again he isnt native, but is a thriving introduced species here in Texas from what I have heard.
