I was wondering if there were any evolutionary differances that can be detected with relative ease between American and European Northern Pike. Mostly just a curioscity thing. Does anyone know of any on the inside or out?

Try http://www.google.co...america" europe . Among other potentially interesting sources, there's a Google Book result there entirely about the species.

I've known about NANFA a few years now, but just learned of this forum. Loads of info!

Something that stands out to me is the presence of Northern pike in the Baltic Sea. It seems to be the only significant brackwater occurance of E.lucius in Europe or North America or anywhere else. European pike may have evolved a higher tolerance of salt.
