I'm my ~2 years of laziness since I first started talking about my 150, I have failed to start a link. I blame the fish for distracting me. Perhaps I should now. You'll certainly see it if/when I do.
You'll find a lot of truly, expert-level, husbandry and scientific information on stream inhabitants such as shiners, darters, chubs, suckers, sunfish, catfish, and some oddballs on the forum. To my knowledge, you're the first one in a while to discuss keeping any trout.
I think you should! If you are anything like me, you already have a ton of great pictures somewhere... just throw one out there and let the conversation roll! I think this site is a great resource, I just wish it had a little more activity.
People casually mention a desire to keep them, but I think this is the first truly committed and successful venture on the forum.
Yea, this is the one query that I did run on the site before posting... I looked around for threads about trout and found a few people asking about the logistics of doing it, and a couple reply from people who said that had done it in the past, but nothing solid.
Glad I could bring some "[commitment and success]" to the forum! I still need to bring some new media to the thread... all in due time. I am going to be doing some sampling soon, maybe I will find something worth bringing home...
