I have banded and bluespotted together and I like it. The bandeds are much more likely to stay out in the open which brings out the bluespots.

What size tank and how many of each? I am interested in hearing more.

Looks like within the next couple of weeks I may be ordering some banded sunfish for my 20 gal L seeing I sold some of my cichlids. I might also convert my 33 gal L now into a small sunfish tank and order some blue spotted and black banded for it.
