I have had this tank set up for about a month and it is now my most prized tank.... Hope you enjoy it as much as I do.......

125 Gallon Tank
Stand and Canopy
Filstar Rena XP3 Canister Filter
Filstar Rena XP4 Canister Filter
Tunze 6045 Power Head

Fantastic set-up, I wish I could help you out on the plant ID... But, do you find that your driftwood is staining your water quite a bit? Have you noticed a marked difference in pH from that? I'm trying some new things with a smaller tank that I have and I was thinking about adding driftwood to the set-up to help buffer the pH down from the relatively high 8.0 water we see out here. (Note: the reason for buffering it is I'm trying to keep some fish in the aquarium that may not be suited to hard water)

Hello and thanks for your comments. Drift wood will leach tanons into the watter for a while...... it should go away after a while depending on the wood used. It should buffer your water a little. Have you tried cuting your tap water with RO water. That would help you out a lot. small RO units are not all that expensive. If you have any other questions let me know!

Great lookin tank! I can't badmouth the sunfish but I can only salivate at the thought of a tank like that with a nice school of pteronotropis. As for the plant, perhaps Anubias afzellii?

hey all thanks for the comments. Paul.... it means a lot that you enjoy the tank. Taking to you is what made me want to get into natives in the first place.... this tank use to be my Rainbow display tank in the living room.... I think you have seen pics of it when it was the rainbow tank.....we need to get out and go collecting together... I know chad would be interested in a collecting trip.....
