Wait, you stick your arm in the water to trim the plants but you think it's gross to touch dry flake food :blink:

Well the leech species in the water are detrivores, so it's okay. XD

Edit: But really, the reason why I prefer a mortar and pestle is because it lets you control grain size. I crush the flakes a bit and feed them to the guppies, a bit more and feed them to the Elassoma, and a bit more and feed them to the guppy babies. It's handy.
