Hi, I'm Kevin, been a forum user for a few years now and finally joined the other day. I've wanted to become a member for a while now, and finally pulled the trigger. Why not sooner? Mostly financial, money has been tight, but this is a good cause so it took some salesmanship on my part to convince my wife that it's worth it. Plus, I've benefited from the forum, so it's about time I gave something back. Glad to be here.

I will try and recruit members among my fishing buds...

Welcome, and thanks for the support Kevin. The 2015 convention is in Oklahoma. Quite a trek, but they are great fun. I suspect that the 2016 convention may be a bit closer to home for you. I really like the oyster reef tank, and apparently so do many others.

Thanks Matt! Yeah, it's kinda far for me this time. I will try to make some of them in the future though.

On another note, as my oyster reef project plods along, I just found out that I will be getting a 75 gallon and related equipment, supposedly all in good shape and not very old, from my brother-in-law. He is getting out of aquariums because of expense and space issues. I think he wants to get rid of his 30 gallon too, but not sure. I see a stream tank set up full of Maryland life in the very near future!

Sounds great. There are many good stream tank ideas on the forum if you search for them. Good luck. Hope to see you at a future convention. Matt

Hello people...A friend told me about this site so I checked it out and joined. Thank you for allowing me into the group. My name is Greg Ollila and I currently live in Pleasant Prairie, WI but plan on moving to eastern Tennessee where I will be closer to what I love to do. I am a catfish tournament angler fishing many catfish tournaments nationwide which are mostly on larger rivers.

Hey everyone,

I just wanted to introduce myself. I'm really glad I stopped procrastinating and finally joined NANFA. I've been interested in native fish for well over a decade now. Whenever I have some down time, I love to explore Maryland's mountain streams and tidal marshes. I'm in the process of setting up an aquarium at the park I work at to hopefully bring attention to some of our states non-game fish.
